Update on Matt

As of Day 3 after Matt's AVM surgery, he continues to show improvement every day. Today Matt is sitting up and starting to answer simple questions. The last CAT scan showed no significant swelling and no bleeding, which was the biggest concern for the 48 hours after surgery, so prayers are definitely being answered. He also had 10 minutes of PT today and was able to drink water from a straw. The doctor said that he would have been happy if he had made this much progress a week after his surgery so he is doing better than expected. He also continues to squeeze our hands and give us thumbs up and he especially lights up when he knows Sarah is there. Thank you all so much for your prayers - they are working!
