Moving from ICU

This morning Matt was sitting up, which they want him to do for an hour and a half. He is a little more alert and so we actually visited for almost an hour. As soon as a room is available, he will be moved to a regular room. He is drinking water and juice from a straw and we gave him a cup of ice cream! Steve told him he had the gas tank on his car fixed and he said, "How did you do that?' Then just out of the blue he asked, "Did the Colts win?" His voice sounds perfectly normal, just very quiet. So we continue to be very encouraged with his progress. Right now we are deciding which rehab center he will go to and tomorrow someone from the center will be here to evaluate him. He will most likely be admitted there next week, so things are really moving along.
"Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in Him for He shields him all day long and the one the Lord loves rests between His shoulders." Deuteronomy 33:12
