The Latest scoop-

Hey all, the latest scoop on Matt is that he will most likely be sent home on the Dec. the 14th. He will continue outpatient (3-4 times a week) for most likely up to a year. And obviously we have no idea what the Air Force is going to do with us. At some point he will have an MEB (Medical Evaluation Board) and they will determine whether to keep him in or not. As most of you know, he cannot fly for 5 years. After which, he could petition to get back into the Buff if they will allow him. As of now, we very much do want to stay in the Air Force, but I guess that all just depends on them. We are excited to have him home for Christmas of course too! He is now getting more movements on his left hand side with his bicep and tricep. And yesterday he squeezed his fingers around the therapists hand several times. All though none of this is really strong yet, it seems to be there. He also had another catscan yesterday to check on things...we have not heard anything from the neuro doc. But please be praying that he gets a clean bill of health in that area. Thank you guys for your prayers!!!! We hope that you all are enjoying the Christmas season:-)
